Details on admission can be found in the official Admission Bulletin. To apply for the pharmacy program at the University of Szeged please carefully follow the step by step application guide below:

Step 1: Complete the online registration

Applications are to be submitted through the online Application System, Dream Apply at apply.u-szeged.hu.

First, select the pharmacy program then click on Apply Now! and become an applicant by creating your applicant account. Please keep in mind that you are only allowed to register one account in the application system. After completing your registration online an automatic reply will be sent to your e-mail address to confirm your online registration.

Should you already have a Dream Apply account, log in, choose your preferred program and click on "Yes, clone my previous application (recommended)". Please check your data, make necessary changes and provide additional information if required by the system.

In case you are applying through a local representative, please indicate the agent reference code. The list of codes can be found on the following website: http://www.med.u-szeged.hu/fs/application-admission/representatives

You may also add the code later. In order to do so, please click on your name (upper right corner) and choose Have a reference code?

In case you are applying for exemption from the entrance examination or you would like to transfer to the University of Szeged, you are also requested to use one of the following reference codes:

- EXEMPTION
- TRANSFER

Proceed to Step 2.

Step 2: Collect the required documents

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Documents are only accepted as attested copies in English language or as certificates with an authorized English translation.

1. Passport photo

You are required to upload a formal photograph of yourself in the DreamApply. Please note that you can only upload JPEG files that do not exceed 2MiB.

2. Certified copy of your High School Diploma from an accredited high school and Transcripts listing all the subjects you have taken and the grades you have achieved.

You are also eligible to submit your application and sit for an entrance examination if you are in your final year but have not received your School Leaving Certificate or Diploma yet. In this case, you must present proof that you are attending high school.

In case of application for exemption from taking the entrance examination, certified copy of your IB Diploma, GCE A-level certificate(s) or BSc. Degree and Transcript(s) listing all the subjects you have taken and the grades you have achieved are required.

Predicted grades are also considered.

3. Photocopy of your valid Passport (non-EU citizen) or Identification Card (EU citizen)

5. General Medical Certificate

6. Birth Certificate

You must provide a photocopy of your Birth Certificate or any official document indicating your full name, date and place of birth, furthermore your mother's first and previous family name (maiden name) the latest after acceptance.

7. Motivation Letter

Content of this letter must be typed in to the Motivation tab in your own DreamApply account.

8. Reference Letter

You may ask for a reference from current or former teachers, employers. You can ask for automated references from referees through the DreamApply system or upload the scanned copy of your reference letter in the documents tab.

9. Statement of Representation

10. Proof of Payment: 300 EUR Application fee (non-refundable)

Please note that the above fee is a combined application and entrance examination / evaluation fee that is to be paid only once regardless of the number of applied health science programs (maximum 3 programs) and includes a maximum of two examination chances in case it is offered by the University.

Payment can be made through Simple Pay (available within the Dream Apply Application system).

Please note that commission charges have to be paid by the applicant.

11. In case of transfer students: Official University Transcript(s) listing all the subjects you have taken and the grades you have achieved, information on the grading system and Course Description(s) of all the subjects you have completed are required.

Step 3: Upload the required documents

Please scan original documents in PDF format and upload them in the Document tabs.

Application deadline for the degree programmes: June 30, 2022

Step 4: Register for an entrance exam in Szeged, Hungary or abroad

Step 5: Mail the required documents

The hard copies of the uploaded documents have to be mailed to the University only following acceptance. The University reserves the right to withdraw the official decision regarding admission if the hard copies of the documents do not match the ones uploaded upon application.

How to follow the procedure of your application

After the online registration, you can follow the procedure of your application by checking your mailbox on a regular basis.

If you get admitted to one of our programmes you will receive a Letter of Admission through the Dream Apply Application System. On request, the hard copy of this document can be mailed to your registered mailing address.

Applicants are asked to apply as early as possible. Please note that places are offered on a first come first served basis. Late applicants are considered based on place availability.
