Memorandum of Understanding between USZ and UHS-VNU in Vietnam catalysed by two the Faculties of Pharmacy

On 23 October 2025, the University of Szeged and the University of Health Sciences-Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The signing of the agreement was made possible by the opening of the two Faculties of Pharmacy towards each other. At the signing ceremony that took place in Vietnam, the University of Szeged was represented by the colleagues of our Faculty, namely Prof. Dr. Zsolt Szakonyi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. István Szatmári, Head of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Dr. Bálint Lőrinczi, Representative of the dean responsible for enrollment and public relations.

Following the formal signing event, professional discussions were also launched, with valuable opportunities for both faculties in the fields of pharmaceutical technology, pharmacology, pharmacognosy and medicinal chemistry.
