Professor Kirmizibekmez research field is focused on the isolation and structure elucidation of the phenolic compounds, terpenes and iridoids of the plants of Turkish Flora.

During his short stay he was working in the Department of Pharmacognosy on elaboration of new chromatgraphical methods for separation of plant metabolites, and structure determination of several pure compounds. He also gave a lecture in English for PhD and English class students of our Faculty.
