The University of Szeged is the best Hungarian university in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in U.S. News & World Report's Best Universities ranking.
U.S. News & World Report has recently released its annual Best Global Universities ranking which covers 1500 universities across 80 countries. The American media company has also published the list of the Best Global Universities in Europe, as well as a ranking of colleges by subject. The rankings take 13 different variables into consideration, measuring academic research by the number and ratio of publications, citations and international collaboration.
The University of Szeged is 688th in the world ranking and 301st in the European ranking. Among the Hungarian universities, it has been ranked 4th. As for pharmaceutical sciences, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Szeged is the only Hungarian university on the list of the Best Global Universities for Pharmacology and Toxicology, ranked 231st in the world.
